Tutorial for Art Teachers to Submit Kiln Maintenance or Repair through Asset Panda

To submit a kiln repair request, please follow the steps below. Select the tab for the type of device you are using to make the request.

  

Making a Kiln Request through the Computer

  1. Log into Asset Panda. (If you need instructions on how to log in, view the Logging Into Asset Panda tutorial.)
  2. Click the Asset tab at the top of the screen.
  3. Find your kiln in the list. Note that you can click the up or down arrow in the Location column heading (or any column heading) to sort alphabetically. You can also use the search feature or filter feature to limit your results. 
  4. Select your kiln by clicking on the link.

 

  1. On the Details page for your kiln, pull down the Actions menu and select Request Kiln Maintenance/Repair.


 

  1. Enter the required information. (Note: if you would like a bigger box to type your description, place your cursor at the bottom right edge so that it turns into up/down arrows. Click and hold while dragging your cursor down to create a larger box.)

    If you need to add a file, such a picture, click the the Add new file button and attach the file. 
     
  2. Click the Save and Close button to submit your request.
     

 

 
 

Making a Kiln Request on an iPhone

  1. Log into Asset Panda on your iPhone. (If you need instructions on how to log in, view the Logging Into Asset Panda tutorial.)
  2. Click the Assets option in the submenu.
     

 

  1. Scroll to find your kiln in the list. Note that you can also use the search feature or filter feature to limit your results. 
  2. Select your kiln by clicking on the arrow.

 

  1. On your kiln page, click the 3-dot menu at the bottom.


 

  1. Select the Request Kiln Maintenance/Repair option.

 

  1. Enter your email and description of needed maintenance/repair.
  2. lf you need to add an image or documentation, click the 3-dot menu icon to reveal attachment options. 
    (If there is nothing to add, proceed to Step 9.)
  3. Click Save to submit your request.

 
 

Making a Kiln Request on an Android Phone

  1. Log into Asset Panda on your Android phone. (If you need instructions on how to log in, view the Logging Into Asset Panda tutorial.)
  2. Click the Assets option in the submenu.
     

 

  1. Scroll to find your kiln in the list. Note that you can also use the search feature or filter feature to limit your results. 
  2. Select your kiln by clicking on the arrow.

 

  1. On your kiln page, click the 3-dot menu at the bottom.


 

  1. Select the Request Kiln Maintenance/Repair option.

 

  1. Enter your email and description of needed maintenance/repair.
  2. lf you need to add an image or documentation, click the menu icon to reveal attachment options. (If there is nothing to add, proceed to Step 9.)
  3. Click the checkmark button to submit your request.
