Overview
Qustodio is a FREE service that provides parents with a resource to supervise school-issued Chromebooks outside school hours.
On nights (4:45 PM and 7:30 AM), weekends, and school holidays, Qustodio allows parents to:
- Apply custom web filtering,
- Set daily screen time limits,
- Set custom rules for certain days & times. (Ex: bedtime & homework time)
- Pause all internet access,
- Monitor browsing activity on their student's Chromebook,
- Receive email summaries of usage, and
- Read digital safety guidance from experts.
If you would both like to manage your child’s school device, follow these steps:
- Visit https://www.qustodio.com/my-school from a web browser to create a Qustodio account and connect to your student(s). Do not attempt to create an account from the app or their homepage.
- Once the account is created, parents can download the Qustodio app to a mobile device and log in, or continue to access their account on the web.
Where can I get help?
Qustodio offers a vast library of help articles for each of the features it provides. A great starting point for FAQ's can be found at: https://www.linewize.com/qustodio_parent_faq . Also, their support team can be reached via email at: myschool@qustodio.com .
Recommended Approach
For Two Parents (One Parent Account with two logins)

That's it! Both parents will now have the same visibility and rules options for school devices.
Alternative Approach
For Split Families Arrangements (Separate accounts with individual logins)
If your child travels between different households, this alternative setup may be more suitable for your family:

That's it! Both parents will be able to see their own rules and activity generated during the time they control the rules, but not the rules the other parent sets.
